Katie originally studied business management at Liverpool John Moores University and then enrolled at the University of Law in 2020 to complete her law conversion MA course where she received a distinction.

Katie joined Cowling Swift & Kitchin in 2021 when she began working as a secretary full time and began studying for her SQE qualification part time with BPP University. Katie qualified as a solicitor in May 2025 and accepted a role as an Assistant Solicitor at Cowling Swift & Kitchin.
