Katie originally studied business management at Liverpool St Johns University and then enrolled at the University of Law in 2020 to complete her law conversion MA course where she received a distinction.

Katie joined Cowling Swift & Kitchin in 2021 when she began working as secretary full time and began studying for her SQE qualification part time with BPP University. She has passed her SQE1 exams and is now a trainee solicitor within the firm and is due to qualify in 2025.

Katie is currently training in the following areas:

• Commercial development work including freehold and leasehold transactions
• Plot sales
• Residential conveyancing
• Lasting powers of attorney
• Wills
